ABOUT OUR NOTES

Our prop money is designed and created for use in filming such as television, movies and music videos as well as live performances by theatre production companies.

All of our currency complies with the Bank of England reproduction law, which requires reproduction notes to be:

  • Single sided - blank on the reverse 

  • Increased in size - 25% larger in size than an actual bank note

  • Word specimen is clearly printed on each note - this is covered by the currency band when the notes are stacked 

  • Printed on paper - are distinguishable from materials used at the Royal Mint

These reproductions will not pass as real currency. It is an offence to attempt try and pass reproduction notes as real currency and doing so may result in legal action. We will assist the relevant authorities where required if in the event the product(s) have been reported as being misused.

Any notes not abiding by the rules above are illegal. We have worked with a professional printer company to produce the most realistic notes allowed by UK law.

 

If you buy or sell notes which do not abide by the law this may result in legal action.
